Well, it's been 2 months this 2012, and my life is returning to normal. I have been working out hard and my foot is cooperating. The rest of my body is putting up a fuss, but my foot is good. I am back to doing the hard circuit training I was doing years ago when I started the blog, and I am even able to do hard spinning, which I was not able to do post-injury and even post PT. The running is coming along. My weekly mileage is low, and I am running only 1 day a week. But my run is for 5-6 miles. I am going to start slowly adding in some miles on an additional day. I've gotten this far, I hate to blow it now by getting too excited and pushing too hard.
I am so thankful I didn't rush into surgery. Rigorous stretching and massage therapy are working great for me. If at some point I feel like I'm not improving, I can always have surgery. At least this way I may not have to.
